The game begins with either you or the opponent going first, determined randomly. Cards are then dealt: three cards from the deck of 52 cards are placed face down, and one card is placed face up. Each player then receives four cards to initiate the first set of plays. The player who gets the cards initially placed on the table at the start of the game will have the opportunity to view these three face-down cards for 3 seconds. This allows them to remember the cards that have passed. After this time, the cards will be placed next to the player on the table faced down. After these initial four cards are played, with each player taking turns playing one card at a time, another four cards are dealt. This process continues until all cards have been dealt.
To collect cards, you must always match the card on the table. For example, if I play the 4 of Spades and my opponent plays the 2 of Clubs, then I play the King of Hearts. If my opponent also has a King, they collect all the cards; otherwise, they continue to put a card, and I do the same until our cards match and I collect them all. If you or your opponent plays a Jack, regardless of the card on the table, the Jack collects all the cards. Since there are only four Jacks, receiving them is a matter of luck. In total, there are 25 points available. You earn 22 points based on the types of cards you collect during gameplay. Additionally, you receive 3 points if you have the majority of cards, defined as 27 or more cards. However, if each player has exactly 26 cards, these 3 points are not awarded. The following cards count towards scoring: 4 Aces, 4 Queens, 4 Kings, 4 Jacks, and 4 Tens. However, the Ten of Diamonds is worth 2 points, while the Two of Clubs is worth 1 point; Total 22 points. A Pishpirik occurs when you or your opponent plays a card on an empty table and it matches a card on hand. This results in a Pishpirik and awards 10 points. However, if the matching card is a Jack, it counts as a special Pishpirik and awards 15 points
In addition to points, you will also earn XP. XP is calculated based on your total number of points, plus 10 XP for winning the game. Additionally, you receive 5 XP for each Pishpirik made or canceled. If you lose, you will not receive the extra 10 points, but you will still earn 5 points for each Pishpirik made or canceled. If your opponent leaves the game, a dialog box will appear giving you the option to wait for 15 seconds for the opponent to return. If the opponent doesn't return within this time, you will have the option to collect the current points and XP, or continue playing with the opponent's cards being played randomly every second to expedite the game. After each game, players who leave will experience a drastic decrease in XP. If a player leaves three games, they will lose one level regardless of their XP count.
